Last month members of ADKF attended the Mayor’s Vision for San Antonio luncheon hosted by the North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce. The luncheon featured newly elected Mayor Ivy Taylor in her first public appearance before the Chamber since being elected on June 13. Just last year, after she was appointed to serve as interim Mayor, Taylor’s first appearance before the Chamber was also at the Mayor’s Vision Luncheon, a fact included in her keynote address. The date of this year’s luncheon also happened to fall on Mayor Taylor’s birthday. Mayor Taylor’s vision for San Antonio included a look at how far The Alamo City has come in the last 30 years and what goals have been set for the year 2020. The Mayor’s speech included goals for San Antonio to become the next big Tech City, the restoration project for The Alamo and Alamo Plaza, and the possibility of adding a new building to the skyline. ADKF is a proud member of the Chamber and Susan Valdez, CPA sits on the Board of Directors. We are committed to supporting the Chamber and the community.
