Catch Up with ADKF
At ADKF, the past three months have been a whirlwind of celebration, professional growth, and community engagement, reflecting our commitment to our team, our clients, and the communities we serve!

August marked an exciting milestone as we officially moved into our brand-new Boerne office, celebrating with an open house and a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Boerne Chamber of Commerce. Shortly afterward, our summer-long cornhole tournament came to a fun-filled conclusion during a happy hour and championship event in September, providing a lighthearted way for colleagues to connect beyond the office. We also held a mixer with United Way meant to introduce the team to the 2025 Campaign team and provide education and insight into the leadership groups available to donors while also emphasizing our goal of 100% firm participation. We officially kicked off the campaign in October and are well on our way to reaching our goal! To round out team celebrations, we held a firm-wide celebratory luncheon to honor our five team members who passed their CPA exams this year! At this lunch, each person was recognized for their incredible achievement, strong dedication, and a commitment to excellence. We are so proud of these individuals!
Professional growth and industry involvement have been a major focus for our team as well. September saw our participation in the American Subcontractors Association Pour-Off competition and mixer, as well as the Associated Builders and Contractors Chili Cook-Off, events that combined learning, networking, and friendly competition with others in the construction industry. Our engagement continued at the Construction Financial Management Association Conference, where ADKF served as a platinum sponsor! Some team members attended sessions to expand their industry knowledge, while others managed our sponsor booth, connecting with construction professionals from across the state. Additionally, Austin Lee presented at the Metro SA Chamber on the “Big Beautiful Bill,” helping local business owners understand how the new legislation impacts them. Our team also shared insights at the Wild About Taxes seminar in Horseshoe Bay, providing guidance for wildlife ranch owners and their accounting teams.

Giving back to the community remains at the heart of ADKF’s mission. Over the past few months, our team has supported numerous initiatives, from participating in The Vault shoe drive, where foster children could “shop” for new shoes before the school year, to attending the Botanical Garden Gala, Splendor in the Garden, and supporting the Animal Defense League Fur Ball. We’ve also participated in events such as the Project MEND 5K, the San Antonio Heart Walk, and several golf tournaments including 1Hope, Catholic Charities, the Metro SA Chamber, and Vibrant Works. Additionally, our team hosted a blood drive in partnership with South Texas Blood and Tissue, contributing to life-saving efforts in the community.

Looking back on the past three months, it’s clear that ADKF’s strength lies not only in the work we do for our clients but also in the culture we cultivate internally and the impact we make externally. Whether celebrating milestones, expanding our professional expertise, or giving back to the community, our team continues to demonstrate that success is about collaboration, growth, and meaningful engagement. We’re excited to carry this momentum forward into the next quarter, continuing to learn, celebrate, and make a difference together!
