The Accounting & Advisory Services Senior plays a vital role within ADKF’s CAS practice, delivering outsourced accounting, advisory, and support to clients across a variety of industries. This position offers the opportunity to build meaningful, ongoing relationships with business owners and leaders, providing insights they rely on to successfully run their organizations. Position Type: Full Time

Location: San Antonio, and surrounding areas, travel is required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• CPA designation or eligibility to sit for the CPA exams
• Recent public accounting experience required (Prefer Audit or Accounting Services Experience)
• 3+ years total experience in a related field, preferred
• Experience with financial reporting including extensive familiarity with U.S. GAAP
• Knowledge of accounting and operational matters for a variety of industries
• General knowledge of U.S. income tax, margin tax, and sales tax concepts
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Delegates work to other team members
• Excellent interpersonal communication and problem solving-skills
• Capability to prioritize and organize workload with strong attention to detail
• Experience with general ledger software, preferred
• Experience with MS Office, Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
• Experience in designing and implementing robotic process automations (RPA), preferred
• Travel within San Antonio and surrounding areas, required

Responsibilities:

• Develop an understanding of our current client base and identify opportunities for additional services
• Retain existing clients by demonstrating a client focus and sense of urgency to address client needs
• Ability to efficiently onboard clients
• Execute engagements efficiently with strong attention to detail and focus on quality
• Build relationships with clients to become a trusted member of their team
• Assist with training other team members
• Other duties as needed and assigned

Expectations:

• This role will be off-site regularly for face-to-face client meetings
• Understanding overtime requirements
• Travel requirement < 10%
