Anthony Gomez – U.S. Navy
Anthony (right), our System Support Specialist, served 10 years in the U.S. Navy!
Austin Williams – U.S. Army
Austin served 6 years in the U.S. Army before joining ADKF as an Assistant Billing Administrator!
Cassandra Lutz – U.S. Airforce
Cassandra served in the U.S. Air Force as a medic for 9 years! She is currently a Tax Staff Assistant.
Our final veteran, Noah Fielding, has graciously chosen to share his story of serving 9 years in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Noah (right, pictured with his wife on the left) joined the U.S. Marines in 2009. During his 9 years, he advanced to a Sergeant E-5 and served in the infantry as a mortarman, machine gunner, squad leader, and platoon sergeant. He deployed 4 times around the world, including Helmand Province, Afghanistan in 2011. Noah also trained with several foreign militaries including the Korean, Israeli, Australian, and United Kingdom Armed Forces.
The military taught Noah the importance of resilience and adaptability, which are skills he has taken with him for life. Additionally, he credits the Marines for changing him for the better stating, “my time in the military made me realize that you become the average of the people you surround yourself with, so I pick my friends much more wisely.”
His proudest moments while serving are those from when he was a squad leader. The guidance he was able to provide to young adults, some only 17, was the most rewarding aspect of the job and many of those people still reach out to Noah to thank him for his positive impact at such a vulnerable time in life.
Noah loved his time in the Marines, and if it weren’t for the wear and tear of the infantry, he knows he would still be serving today!
