Congratulations to Joe Hernandez, CPA, for receiving the 2017 UTSA Outstanding Accounting Alumnus of the Year Award. Each year the Department of Accounting at UTSA recognizes accounting alumni based on their career accomplishments and active participation in the department, college and university. Joe Hernandez is a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio, and has been in public accounting since 1993. Joe specializes in not-for-profit and for profit audits, reviews, compilations, SEC registered companies and construction companies. He sits on the College of Business’ Accounting Advisory Board and actively mentors, recruits and hires UTSA’s College of Business students. ADKF is proud to have partners who consistently give their time, treasures and talents back to the community and share their wisdom of the accounting industry with local students.
