Tom Akin, had breakfast today with Manny Ruiz, president of Tex Star Bank. Tom and Manny met for breakfast as payment of a football wager where Manny had to sport the Texas Longhorns colors instead of his usual alma mater colors of Baylor University. Tex Star Bank and ADKF have co-sponsored client education events for many years and Tom and Manny have enjoyed joking about their respective schools. We appreciate Manny being such a good sport about paying up on the bet! Go Longhorns!
