ADKF team members are excited to attend the North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce events each month. This month, Tax Manager Nancy Meza, CPA, and Staff Accountant Julia Sutton, CPA, both attended the 2019 North San Antonio Chamber Power Networking Breakfast, held at the Norris Conference Center on Tuesday, October 8th. The Featured Presenter was Julissa Carielo, owner of Tejas Premier Building Contractors and founder of the Maestro Entrepreneur Center. Julissa presented on Growing AS: Identifying our Local Business Buying Power to Improve Local Economy. Nancy stated the North Chamber monthly breakfast is a great way for small business owners and employees to get to know other small business owners. Each month one business owner is given the opportunity to make a small presentation about their business. Julia enjoyed meeting and networking with other professionals as well. She appreciated hearing from Julissa Carielo about the incredible work she is doing through the Maestro Entrepreneur Center. Julissa founded the 501(C)(3) to help entrepreneurs in San Antonio grow their small business beyond the $1 million in revenue threshold and create jobs in the San Antonio community.
